Privacy Policy

Thank you for using Adblock Mobile! This policy explains the what, how, and why of the information we collect when you use Adblock Mobile. It is a fairly generic and formal document that you will likely see from other online service providers, designed by lawyers.

In short, we collect the minimum amount of personalized data (see Information Collected section below) that is necessary to provide you with our Services. These are a few things you need to know:

  • The technology behind Adblock makes your phone or tablet route your ad traffic through our servers so that they can be blocked. We never make it route any of your general non-ad-related web traffic. Traffic like your emails, banking information, and other personal information never even reach our servers.
  • The ad traffic that goes through our servers may still contain personalized data, such as advertising IDs or your geolocation. Some of the ad networks use this information to show you targeted and more relevant ads. We never share or sell this personalized data, unless it is required by law.
  • We do store depersonalized information about the ads that we block. We may perform analysis on this data in order to improve our Adblock service and may share the processed results of our analysis with third parties. The processed results will never contain any user-specific personal information that would enable third parties to identify or solicit you.
  • We care about your privacy and are committed to protecting and preserving it.

Effective Date: January 9, 2015
